Adrian Sonevytsky, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained interventional pain physician specializing in advanced, minimally invasive treatments for chronic spine and nerve pain. He focuses on helping patients find lasting relief and restore function, while often avoiding the need for spine or joint surgery. His practice uses precise, image-guided techniques to build personalized treatment plans and find effective treatment options that support improved function, activity, and quality of life.

Dr. Sonevytsky has extensive experience with advanced and innovative pain procedures designed to help improve chronic pain conditions and, in some cases, prevent acute pain from becoming a long-term problem. He is one of only a few specialists in Northwest Indiana certified in dorsal root ganglion stimulation, as well as Superion and Vertiflex implants.

He was also the first provider in the region to implant a new Medtronic spinal cord stimulator battery designed to provide adaptive, 24-hour pain control for patients with chronic pain.

Dr. Sonevytsky earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Loyola University Chicago before receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internship, anesthesiology residency, and pain management fellowship at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago.

Dr. Sonevytsky is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and holds a pain medicine subspecialty certification through the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and Ukrainian Medical Association of North America.
