Anton A. Thompkins, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of back, neck, and spine conditions. He joined Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute in 2001 and provides operative and nonoperative care for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine disorders.
Dr. Thompkins’ practice focuses on helping patients reduce pain, restore function, and improve quality of life through experienced, individualized spine care. He treats both routine and complex spine conditions, using minimally invasive techniques when appropriate and advanced surgical approaches when more complex care is needed. He finds it rewarding to help patients reduce pain, restore function, and return to the parts of life they’ve been missing.
