Nick Nenadovich, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in spine surgery, neck and back conditions, orthopedic trauma, and minimally invasive spine care.
Dr. Nenadovich joined Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute in 2006 and provides specialized care for patients with degenerative, traumatic, and pathologic conditions of the neck, back, and spine. His practice focuses on helping patients reduce pain, improve function, and return to a better quality of life through evidence-based, individualized treatment plans.
As a fellowship-trained spine surgeon, Dr. Nenadovich offers both nonoperative and minimally invasive operative treatment approaches. He treats a wide range of spine conditions and has experience with advanced procedures, including artificial disc replacement of the cervical and lumbar spine. He works closely with each patient to understand their symptoms, explain treatment options, and develop a care plan that aligns with their goals and long-term mobility.

Dr. Nenadovich received his undergraduate degree in microbiology and cell science from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois, and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois. He then pursued advanced specialty training through a spinal surgery fellowship at The State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
Dr. Nenadovich is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of several professional associations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Indiana Orthopaedic Society, the Indiana State Medical Association, the National Association of Spine Specialists, the North American Spine Society, and the Porter County Medical Society.
Dr. Nenadovich’s approach to patient care emphasizes evidence-based treatment, clear communication, and individualized planning. Whether patients are exploring conservative care or considering surgery, he works to help them understand their condition and move forward with confidence.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Nenadovich enjoys staying active through golf, tennis, skiing, scuba diving, and cycling.
