Fellowship-Trained Pain Specialist Joins Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute

Adrian Sonevytsky, M.D., fellowship-trained pain management expert, has joined Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute. Dr. Sonevytsky is available to see patients at the practice’s Schererville office at The Crossings, 833 West Lincoln Highway, Suite 110.

As a fellowship-trained, board-certified pain management specialist, Dr. Sonevytsky’s expertise includes an array of the latest nonsurgical solutions to pain conditions. Dr. Sonevytsky specializes in state-of-the-art techniques, such as epidural steroid injections, peripheral nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, joint injections and trigger point injections. He also offers a minimally invasive procedure for lumbar spinal stenosis using the Superion® Indirect Decompression System by Vertiflex and various stimulation device procedures, including dorsal root ganglion (DRG) stimulation for chronic pain conditions that have not responded to other treatments.

Dr. Sonevytsky earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois, where he completed his medical internship, anesthesiology residency and pain management subspecialty fellowship at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. He is board-certified in anesthesiology and subspecialty board-certified in pain medicine through The American Board of Anesthesiology.
